Dr. Rebecca M Lancaster, MD

I have been going to Dr. Rebecca Lancaster for years.She is a very nice, sympathetic and knowledgeable doctor and I have recommended her to several friends and family.

I think she is very thorough and listens to you as the patient. I really feel comfortable going to her.

My experiance with her started out great, but when i got really sick she wasn't very helpful. Getting in to see her wasn't always easy and the other doctor I had to see was arrogant. Her staff never followed through with return phone calls, and when they did they called me back at the last minute before the clinic closed and would not leave a detailed message with further instructions for care. Her staff was supposed to make an appointment for me with a GI doctor and I still haven't heard back from her staff. I saw another doctor and he helped me get an appointment. He also told me to do the exact opposite of what Dr. Lancaster told me to do about my condition. He also told me One of the meds she prescribed would make things worse for me. The GI doctor was also shocked that she put me on this med telling me this med had been black boxed due to its side effects being so severe. He told me patients are to sign a waiver before givin this med. I never signed a waiver and was not informed… of said side effects.

I found Dr. Lancaster to professional and to the point.

Dr. Lancaster is not a caring Dr. She will do what she can to spend your money, not give you correct details and never show you test results she demands you have. My experience at her office was very poor and I would never go back!

Dr. Lancaster is an excellent physician who is caring, patient, thorough during her office visits and timely in getting back to you with test results or answers to questions that needed to be looked into. If test results need to be discussed, she personally calls to discuss them. She addresses the whole patient's needs not just what the visit was for that particular time; are preventative tests due (or overdue) and getting baseline readings for future references for other issues.
