Dr. Rebecca Eve Mancoll, MD

first time i went to dr mancoll i was about 200 lbs,but i looked like i was about 150 when i asked her will my face ever get back to normal cause it looked thinner or different just "not right"she said don't worry about your face, you are obese. which i thought was just an isolated incident,but the sarcasm just got worse. she seems agitated every time i go there. frequently says things under her breath and since ive gained weight the fat shaming got much worse. i'm kind of scared of her or at least scared to tell her symptoms. once she told me to take my shirt off and wait in another room she said i had a suspicious mole on my back and she wanted to take a picture of it a nurse took me into the other room and said to stand in front of the mirror about 15 or 20 minutes later a nurse came in and told me "you can go now" no picture was taken. also shes taken me off a suppliment for pancreatitis she said "just stop taking the creon if it gives you the runs"[i have 10 percent of a… pancreas] frequent problems with the pharmacy like my k lor[potassium chloride suppliment] she would prescribe 2 bottles of pills 90 count [i take one per day which means i only need 31 per month at the most, by the 4th month i had enough k lor for a couple of years. when i asked her to stop prescribing it so much she just took me off it,also she would call the pharmacy to tell them to warn me to only take one magnesium oxide per day because i told her i was taking a suppliment to help me sleep at night was a powder you put into hot water that had vitamin d in it mag oxide and calcium and she was half listening to me and heard magnesium oxide so instead of just telling me to my face to stop"abusing the mag oxide" she called the pharmacy to call me for her which seemed weird to me [i only took one a day] if you have any serious medical problems please don't go to dr mancoll you might be"not in her pay grade" like she told me. seems very uncaring,sarcastic and not a very good diagnostician. she will send you across town for something that could be taken care of downstairs in the hospital ,is one of the main reasons i go to that hospital because everything you need is under one roof but seems to always send you to shady side and even though she knows i am on disability and have a limited budget prescribes the most expensive meds. thank goodness for the pharmacy they help out frequently. sorry for any typos or grammatical errors btw.

Dr. Mancoll listens to your concerns, complaints and conditions. She makes thoughtful decisions based on my reporting as well as physical exam and test results. I believe she truly cares and wants the best for her patients.

She has been my PCP for over 10 years now. Very knowledgeable! Gave me several alternatives to manage my pain instead of pushing pills on me like other doctors do. She always takes the time necessary to help me with my problems. I love her! Highly caring! Friendly!

Karen, If u were a dr. I would walk to see u. Please tell mancoll thanks for all she has donefor me in prior medical events in the distant past. But as I am still in excruciating pain after seeing dr hares at pain clinic (receiving 4 cortisone, the last 3 have had NO AFFECT) and i have been committing suicide as i have no choices because of a dr (mancall) whom is anything but compassionate and empathtic I am leaving for a more caring Dr. Again thanks Karen u have helped beyond words . I will be placing this on mancoll's review page I wouldn't want anyone else going through this uncaring medical care!

She came across completely neurotic and annoyed. When she went to check the area I needed to have looked at, she said she "gets queasy" and would have a student look at it. Terrible bedside manner. Terrible doctor.

My experience with Dr. Mancoll was terrible. It was my first and last time visiting (in the Owings Mills, MD office). I scheduled an appointment because I had what I believed to be an allergic reaction and broke out with spots on my chest and back. When Mancoll came into the office, she never examined me. I explained my situation and asked her is she wanted to see the rash. She said "No, I don't need to see it." Then she told me that "it is probably, just a skin reaction to something I ate." No treatment tips, no prescription or ointment no anything...oh but she did collect that co-pay. She told me that I should go see a dermatologist... she then referred me to a dermatologist that did not accept my insurance plan. So, they refused to see me as well. Ugh...never again Dr. Mancoll, just awful.

Dr. Mancoll is a kind, sweet individual and a good doctor. She keeps to her schedule, yet never makes me feel rushed or that she doesn't have time for me. She listens (something rare, if you ask me), she cares and she is very thorough.
