Dr. Rebecca Ann Myers, MD

What a relief to work with a doctor who treats me like an adult, giving me recommendations with pointers on how to achieve my health goals and without scolding! She lets me know the optimal ways to tackle my issues, when I should take medical tests, and treatment options without "telling" me I have to do anything in particular at a specific time. That said, she is not a pushover who lets me off the hook on my health responsibilities. She is one of the few doctors I enjoy visiting, and she never wastes my time. Highly recommended medical professional.

She was on time, organized, well informed, and thorough. Her advice was practical and intelligent. She is just what I am looking for in a doctor.

After telling Rebeca Myers that I have three discs in my low back with tears and bulges with a documented 30% disability, contracting Radial Sympathetic Dystrophy in my right arm and almost lost the arm with a documented perm 30% disability, tore out both shoulders and, a surgery on knee that did not go well, she went on to tell me how they all have it wrong and that I am on street drugs. Myers then went on to tell me that the Doctor that I have been seeing for the last six months also has it wrong. Every one has it wrong, the #1 Neurology Dr. in the US. the Psychiatrist who put me on Valium for the extreme stress from the pain, lack of sleep, and being unemployed. What she spent most of the time doing was to go on about my "street drugs" Vicodin and Valium. Both medications prescribed by top professional doctors in there fields and have never been abused. I made this appointment to have a doctor manage my medications as I have done for the last 13 years. Meyers also then cut my… medications in a 1/3. For this outstanding performance 250.00 dollars. After talking to the founder/owner of the clinic managing medications is not what they do here at this clinic, hence a partial refund. Really this is not what you do but you make the appointment any way when I was specific about my needs, and take 250.00 from my health care account and only are willing to refund partially for an appointment your office should have never made to start with. If you are in pain this is not the place to go. Even the founder Susan does not believe her own patients about the pain they are in " Phantom Pain". At this clinic there is a bad ora that hovers over their belief that every one is trying to get street drugs out of them, to sell. At first I did not have a doubt about the integrity of Dr. Myers only that she was so new she was making a fool of herself talking about her piers, but while talking to the Founder she was told by Myers that she was offering me alternatives to pain and extreme stress in lieu of medications. False, you tell me with all these injuries what is the alternative? I would submit to you that the alternative to pain and extreme stress is the medications I was placed on by top specialist in there field. Do not waste your time with the misdirection of this office or waste your money that you probably do not have to spare like me. Although this doctor is new that does not mean that some day she may become a OK doctor. I would suggest that listening skills are a requirement of a doctors job. If you have a doctor that believes waving there hands over you or talking about pain and stress will heal you, do not just leave RUN ! Phantom Pain of course you cannot see pain. Pain is not something you can see therefore your Dr. must be a good listener to properly treat you for your pain. If your Dr. does not believe you or does not listen to you once again RUN if you can. For all the above mentioned I do not recommend this office for any pain,or stress related issues. Not listening goes all the way to the top at this clinic ! I was some what shocked and since this doctor has no shame, I will be embarrassed for the whole clinic for keeping 100.00 dollars of mine/insurance. This letter is my gift to you, it cost me 100.00 dollars and you earned every cent of it, the only Phantom pain here is the one you put in my rear, you also cannot see it but I tell you it is real.
