Every day, I strive to be a better dentist and a better person. My patients put great trust in me, and I take this very seriously. I am always striving to provide the highest quality dental treatments available for a comfortable and efficient dental experience. I am a perfectionist in my work, and am a very detail-oriented person. My patients are also my friends and neighbors, and I provide nothing but the best for them and their oral health.
Education and Continuing Education
Prior to becoming a dentist, I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi, and attained my DMD from the UAB School of Dentistry.
Although my formal education is complete, I am always learning something new. I study dental journals regularly, and attend annual meetings through UAB, the Alabama Dental Association, the Birmingham District Dental Society, and other regional and national meetings. My continuing education allows me stay up to date with the latest dental …advancements, and helps me ensure that my patients are receiving the best treatment available. I love discovering a new treatment or procedure that I know will make a difference in a patient's life.
In the Practice
Getting to know my patients personally is one of the highlights of my job. I love helping people feel relaxed and comfortable as we partner to work toward their oral health goals.  And I enjoy seeing patients achieve a smile they are proud to share!
In our practice, we work with patients of all ages, and I love the variety of people I meet each day. Every patient has different questions and dental care needs, and I treat each patient according to their individual needs.  My patients care about their health and trust us to assist them in making it the best it can be.
My team here has many years of dental experience, and has a common goal of helping each patient have a comfortable and happy experience. We want to ensure that they understand everything from their dental health status and treatment needs to insurance and payment plans. We are known as a gentle practice, and it’s a part of everything we do!
Family Life
I grew up in Jackson, Mississippi, and love living in Birmingham! My husband, Nathan, and I have twin daughters to keep us busy. In my spare time, I love playing with my daughters or traveling and exploring the US.  I am involved in our community and volunteer for Give Kids a Smile.  I also love supporting the McAdory baseball team as well as programs at Hueytown Middle and High School.  I have been involved with the Vestavia church of Christ for many years.
