Dr. Rebecca A Quiroz, MD

The wait time to see her was over 90 minutes with no explanations of why she could not see me at the scheduled time. My visit with her was rushed. Other times I have felt like she valued my time but not this time. Very disappointed. It is also impossible to schedule timely appointments with her. What happens if you have an emergency!?!

The woman who makes the appointments makes many mistakes. One was telling me the wrong date for my appointment.

I have been going to Dr Quiroz and Mary, her PA, for over 10 years. They have always made sure I'm doing ok and up to date on my vaccinations and labs. Both are friendly and personable and the office is clean and comfortable.

i don't visit her cause she threw the pills several years back never diagnose for something i never was i'm forever free i would rather see her P.A then her ...... i'm looking for better doctor....

The highest rating I can give any doctor would be an 80%, unless they can get you into their office at your appointed time and out within 45 minutes.

Did not seem to care. Did not spend much time with us. no compassion. Did not ask if there were any other issues. Older patients need LOVE, CARING Doctor. If you don't want to do this get OUT. Why take their money. SAD!!!!!!!!

Do not work for this doctor! Always running late, cares only about the number of patients she sees! i would go on but i dont wanna be here all day !

Dr. Quiroz spends more time writing into her laptop than diagnosing a patient accurately. If you tell her you have a problem, she'll throw pills at it without any counseling or even the slightest bit of concern that because of this you may become addicted to the pills. Just take a bigger dosage. She's not aiming to cure you of anything, just keep you on a leash on paying.

In all my doctors visits to Dr. Quiroz's office I've only seen Dr. Quiroz on my initial appointment. Other than that it has been a nurse practicioner. Further, the staff is not infomative or educated on services render at all. I rencently found out I'm pregnant and not sure exactly what to do, so I call the doctors office and ask what should I do and they were like you can come in and see Dr. Quiroz. So I do, (well I don't see her I see a nurse practioner), pay my $20 wait 40 minutes to be told oh we don't do that here. We can send you to a lab and you will have to find an OBGYN that delivers. So not only did I waste my time but I wasted my money, especially when I should have been told that over the phone when I asked that question. I'm very disappointed in the service I have received there over the past two years and WILL not go there again. I suggest you don't either.

My mother, 83, was bedridden and trips to the doctor's office caused extreme exhaustion and pain. At first meeting with Dr. Quiroz to establish if she would take my mother on as a patient, Dr. Quiroz agreed that she could send a nurse to check her if needed and could be flexible with care. When there was a later concern, Dr Quiroz refused to send a nurse and said a trip to her office was required or take her to emergency. An issue Dr Quiroz said could be taken care of at the office resulted in an hour wait then to be told we would have to be referred to another doctor. A heart episode shortly before dying and a request for help any type of help, knowing my mother had DOR orders resulted in the same take her to emergency. I count us lucky she finally consented to refer my mother to HOPISE. I am not sure why Dr. Quiroz entered the medical field but caring for people was not one of the reasons.
