Dr. Rebecca Lee Ramana, DO

While in the hospital for a short heart related issue, Dr. Ramane was one of the 4 doctors from the pulmonology group to see me. Rebecca Ramane was dismissive, rude to myself, caregivers and family members. She was not interested in hearing my medical history or the effects of my chronic medical condition that would not allow me to perform the regiment she insist I do. She ordered tests that I had already underwent 2 days earlier and when asked if she reviewed my chart she left the room and did not return.

This pulmonologist disappointed me greatly. She did not dedicate time to explaining the meaning of certain tests and conditions previously done, was stern and unfriendly in manner, and did not diagnose my condition because she did not feel a CT scan was enough. Instead, she led me in a circle back to where I was before with no answers and no clue with the severity of what I could be dealing with. After this disappoiting 10-15 minute consultation, I recieved a $270 dollar bill. She was of no help whatsoever. Seemed to be in a hurry.
