Dr. Rebecca Sweet, MD

Dr. Rebecca Sweet's care has been the most egregious failure of medical responsibility I have ever experienced. She blatantly disregarded clear symptoms and repeated requests for diagnostic imaging that could have caught a serious condition—empty sella syndrome—in its early stages. I trusted her with my health, only to have that trust shattered by her negligence, dismissive attitude, and apparent inability to prioritize patient concerns over her own assumptions. From my first visit in July 2019, Dr. Sweet ignored critical symptoms, including chronic nausea, vomiting, headaches, and fatigue, which worsened progressively over time. Despite an ER visit in October 2020 that indicated the severity of my condition, and my persistent requests for an MRI, she chose to do nothing. Instead of addressing these issues, she prescribed injections in February 2022 for weight loss—a decision that clearly showed her focus was on superficial concerns rather than diagnosing my worsening health… problems. Even when provided with a professional opinion from another Dr. , a specialist in Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, who explicitly recommended an MRI in March 2022, Dr. Sweet ignored this guidance. The progress notes from him which I handed to her in April 2022, detailed the urgency of investigating my symptoms, but she continued to dismiss my concerns outright. Her refusal to act directly led to irreversible damage to my pituitary gland, the consequences of which I now live with every single day. Dr. Sweet's approach to medicine is not only reckless but also dangerous. Her unwillingness to listen to her patients and prioritize their needs over her own misguided assumptions makes her a clear liability in the medical profession. Her negligence has cost me my career, my education, and my quality of life. I now face daily challenges managing a condition that could have been mitigated or prevented entirely had she done her job. Avoid Dr. Rebecca Sweet at all costs. Her ego-based practice of medicine, refusal to believe patients, and consistent failure to take action make her a danger to anyone seeking competent care. If you value your health and well-being, look elsewhere for a provider who listens, acts, and truly cares about their patients.

She listened to me and helped figure out the best treatment for me. Most doctors throw pills at you, but she takes the time to consider the best care and options.

Doctors should know that their clerks are representing them. The clerks here are terribly arrogant and condescending. They want you to show up 30 minutes early to complete paperwork for new patients, but they won't email or fax you the paperwork and there's nowhere online to complete it. I think that tells you what you need to know about this office. I was on time for my appointment but the clerk lectured me about not being 30 minutes early to do the paperwork. There wasn't one person in the lobby and there was only 1 car in the parking lot. The doctor was standing right there in the hall looking at me. She wasn't even seeing a patient. The clerk should have made the appointment 30 minutes earlier if it was that important. Don't tell me to come 30 minutes before my appointment. That's 2 appointments then, isn't it?
