Dr. Vogel demonstrated exceptional attentiveness and professionalism throughout my care. On the day of my scheduled surgery, which involved two procedures by different surgeons, I had a severe cough and cold. Despite the preparations already in place (I was all prepped up in pre-op), Dr. Vogel advised postponing the procedures, explaining the potential postoperative risks associated with my respiratory condition. I followed her medical judgment, allowed time for me to recover, and a few weeks later underwent both surgeries successfully. Her clinical expertise, integrity, and genuine concern for my safety earned my complete trust and respect. I highly recommend Dr. Vogel for her skill, compassion, and sound medical judgment. Dr Vogel botched a surgery. Then left the patient with no notice she was out of town for a month when the patient is hurting. Awful surgeon and awful communication. Not dr Vogel or her staff returned a phone call for weeks. They avoided a patient in pain which was clearly communicated. To the point where I am about to contact the medical board. Awful practice and awful staff. Do not come here!!!!! Please go somewhere else.

She isn't your typical heart felt warm compassionate physician. She's very direct. Very monotoned. I'm sure she's extremely busy but I don't appreciate feeling like a number. Considering surgery is a very serious deal I would have liked it if she actually would have taken the time and spoke to me. You know I contact also would have been good. It would have made me feel more comfortable with her. Overall I'm sorry I just didn't care for her personality or her abrasiveness. I'm not asking for my position to be a best friend but I am asking my surgeon to spend the quality time that I need until I say okay thank you I don't have any more questions.

Rebecca had experience to effectively deal with a bleeder and sew up a 9 inch long incision.

I would not recommend Dr. Vogel to perform any surgery. Due to her poor judgement and inexperience, the surgery she performed on me resulted in a failure and an extremely lengthy hospital stay. I am lucky to be alive. I would most definitely NEVER recommend her to anyone. I went to the hospital for pain and I was unfortunate that she was working at the hospital that day. Her place of employment has many good doctors but I would never have her perform any type of surgery on me ever again. She is very inexperienced but she thinks of herself as a very knowledgable person. Her mistake on my surgery showed her inexperience.
