Dr. Rebecca Zingg, DO

I like Dr Zingg but her staff is awful !!! She had been my Dr since June of last year ive seen her twice ! Have called booked 4 if not more appointments that have never made it to appointment book since January this year . I have bone on bone issues in consent pain & she did send me to therapy. Therapy did help my balance but just made my pain worse !! Now I can't get back in to see her so I'm trying a different Dr & office . Sorry Dr Zingg but something really needs to be done with office staff no telling how many patients all the Dr's there will loose thanks to staff !!

I was supposed to see Dr Zingg today I got there an hour early so the 2 ladies on the front desk advised me to go and shop for a bit a come back. I asked if it might be better if I stayed maybe could be seen a little early. They both assured me it was better I leave and return at my appointment time. Against my better judgement I did leave, the traffic in South Asheville where they are located is so heavy I was not convinced I had time to get anywhere and back in an hour. It was going to be past time for me to eat in a timely manner for blood sugar reasons so I did go get a sandwich ate it on the way back to the office got there at the very time of my appointment! Right as the clock struck the minute. These same 2 women told me I was too late and would have to reschedule!! I actually thought they were joking! They were not! I was flabbergasted! I said to them no I don’t, never mind! And walked away. I had waited no less 3 months for this appointment!!! She is supposed to be treating… pain syndromes and I am never without severe pain! Every minute of every day I am in severe pain and was hoping against hope that she might be able to help me! I do not prepare to go to a Dr in the best of times without expending a lot of my precious energy and increasing my pain greatly! We are in the midst of the rebuilding effort of Hurricane Hellene and carrying every drop of water we use for anything but flushing the toilet, I took a makeshift shower such as we are having to do! I have no idea what this Dr actually is like but obviously her staff has no comprehension of what a person who is constant and unremitting pain and might come to the doctor they work for goes through therefore I would say you are not likely to get anything but a hard time trying to work with this office! Don’t bother. I am a retired RN and I would never ever have dreamed of treating a patient, a potential patient, a coworker or any one else in such an uncaring manner, to say nothing of the ludicrousness of this situation. I was there early! They sent me away when I was happy to wait I came back at my appointment time and was told I needed to reschedule because I was too late! Believe it or not!
