Dr. Rebekah Gross, MD

It is revolting to me to call Rebekah Gross a doctor. I went to her for my first colonoscopy. When I met her at her office, she seemed serious, distant, and rigid. However, since she was referred to me by an acquaintance, her character didn't bother me. I just hoped that she would be a competent Gastroenterologist. To prepare for my colonoscopy, I was given a list of what I need to do, which included the medication I needed to take. I prepared very thoroughly before the day of my colonoscopy. The day of my colonoscopy came, and I was put under anesthesia. The colonoscopy was completed. When, I woke up, Rebekah Gross said that my colonoscopy was unsuccessful. She claimed she could not see anything. I was very upset, and couldn't understand how that was possible when I prepared myself so well. She then proceeded to let me know that I need to repeat the exam again. I gave her the benefit of doubt, and scheduled another appointment. The day of the appointment came, I got another… colonoscopy. When I woke up, Rebekah once again said to me that the colonoscopy was not successful. I looked at her, and realized that she is the most incompetent Gastroenterologist you could possibly meet. She has two Ivy League degrees. How she got into both schools and received a diploma and a medical license is inconceivable! Never would I recommend her to anyone!!!!

It was time for my first colonoscopy and I am one of those very nervous patients. Dr. Gross was very kind, patient and explained everything to me during my first vist. The day of he colonoscopy she came to see me before the procedure and spent a while with me knowing how nervous I was. The staff at the Joan Tisch Womans Center are awesome as well.
