Dr. Rebekah Tannen ( Dr. Bekka)
Dr. Bekka graduated from Lehigh University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1990. She then attended University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1994. After completing two years of a general practice dental residency at St. Barnabas Hospital and a Fellowship in Special Care Dentistry at The Rose F. Kennedy Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine she decided to focus on pediatrics. Dr. Bekka completed her two year pediatric dental training at St. Barnabas Hospital in 1999.
After her graduation in 1999 she practiced pediatric dentistry in New York City, Dutchess and Putnam County New York and continued teaching at St. Barnabas Hospital, as an associate attending. In 2003 she became a Board Certified Diplomat of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. She is now committed to treating the patients of Family Dental Group in Brewster New York and in 2005 became the Section Chief of the …Department of Pediatric Dentistry at St. Barnabas Hospital.
