Our baby was born with tetralogy of Fallot. Multiple heart defects. She was transferred by air so Dr. Redmond Burke could operate on her after she was born. Dr. Burke has performed thousands of open-heart procedures on children and new borns, and performs a few hundred each year. We are blessed. His success rate is very high (close to one hundred percent) and considered a pioneer. My family describes Dr. Burke as a surgeon who holds a scalpel that is in the hands of God. Everything was a success and everyone who is part of Dr. Burke's team is fantastic and their bedside manner is incredible.

Dr. Burke is both knowledgeable and caring; a combination that is difficult to find with many physicians. He takes the time to explain what his team will be doing and is willing to hold your hand and answer any and all questions, no matter how long it takes.
