Only anesthesiologist who had listened to me when I asked for 'light', as anesthesia affects me way more than others. I was alert and happy 20 minutes after operation. He is the absolute best! I'm trying to contact him so I can get the protocol he used so I can give it to my doctors for my next surgeries. No more wooziness, vomiting, out of it recovery that happens with all other anesthesiologists.

This astute and caring anesthesiologist saved this physician's father's life when just as he was being put under for a procedure, my dad had subtle EKG changes on the monitor before the procedure was even started which led to the Doctor halting the procedure and expediting his transfer to the nearest cardiac cath lab where an MI was diagnosed and 3 stents were placed . He was caring and kind enough to see dad daily through the hospitalization and kept the family fully informed, above and beyond the call of duty. I hope he is the one in the OR when pops gets back for the still-needed procedure! My family members and I are eternally grateful for this exceptional and kind doctor's efforts.

My wife had surgery last month and Dr. Nelson was her Anesthesiologist. His bedside manner was calming and reassuring...he could not have been better to us.
