Dr. Reekesh R Patel, MD

I'm a patient of Dr. Reekesh. I just started seeing him about a month ago. I went into to this office because I was trying to get some help with the pain in my hands. Because the pain in my hands are severe its messing with my nerves, so he prescribed me some nerve and seizure medication, With some narcos 5mg. I explained too him like I have the last 6 doctors that i have seen that the narcos do not work. I have to take 2-3 at a time for the pain too go away. The purpose of my doctor sending me too him was too see what was the right dose, I need to be prescribed so that I don't have to take so many Narcos 5mg and so that I don't get addicted to the pills. The doctor didn't listen to anything I've said. He still gave me 30 narcos 5mg for 30days, which I rain out of by the 17th and are unable to recieve any pain pills because of him. i told him that the medication wasn't gone work ive already been taking that dose, and he said it isn't nothing he can do about it. which their is cause… that's the purpose of me coming to see him. I showed him all the medication i've taking before because of my condition. The hospital put me on oxycontin 10mg, which was take as needed for pain, I took 1 pill every 8-12 hours depending on how my hands feeling, or some days no pills at all. I explained everything to him just too get no result in the end. This was the worse pain specialist I've been too yet. He wasn't any help, since I've seen him in the last month ive been to the hospital twice because the pain is too strong. I wouldn't recommend coming too him, he do what he feel like and that's unfair too people like me who really need the medication because the pain that im going through, and it want go away. i have been going through this pain for 8months and I thought going to him I was gone find a break, but instead I got the same results. ( NOTHING HAVE CHANGED THE PAIN IS GETTING WORSE). I totally understand that some people over use pain medication, but everybody ain't trying to abuse or over use some people really need it and its sad cause, we can't even get what we actually need to stop the pain because, of what others have done. I just want the pain to go away, if they can find out whats wrong with my hands and cure it. I'll drop every pill im on just to be normal again. D.J

I took my fiancé to go see Dr. Patel. He was suffering from neck pain. He diagnosed him with a pinched nerve and recommended him to get an injection. My fiancé is doing amazing. Finally pain free after 3 months. I would highly recommend you to go see him. He is attentive and very caring. He wants to make sure he can help you be pain free.

Great overall. I am satisfied with patel. Very professional.

Doctor was very courteous, great bed side manner and accurate diagnosis.
