Very insulting, condescending, does not listen, cuts you off, won't prescribe needed meds, cancels frequently,NO empathy at all for client.

I have never met with such a rude psychiatrist in my life. She does NOT listen- she dictates. She refuses to give me the medication which has enabled me to focus and work,(4 previous psychiatrists prescribed and recommended I continue treatment on the med,) while recently demanded i chose between several antispychotics because she did not believe a horrible situation i had experienced and I confided just a tiny bit to her, testing her openess. I am going to be asking for another doctor if possible. However, beggars can't be choosers. She told a friend of mine- in opiate recovery for 10 years, that her chances of staying clean are "nil." how is that for encouragement/ Jeez!
