Her dedication and experience allowed her to participate in many administrative and academic roles, along with receiving awards such as “Heroes Helping Heroes.” She relocated to South Carolina in 2017 and started working at a private ophthalmology practice as well as the Augusta VAMC. Dr. Mehta joined Prisma Health Department of Ophthalmology full time in January 2020.
