Let me start out by saying the surgery went well so I’m grateful to her for that because that is the most important. But almost everything outside of the actual surgery has caused me to never want to go back. Idk if Dr. T is money hungry or just surgery happy. She kept insisting I get surgery on a part that I didn’t need after speaking with my primary doctor. She finally came around and I ended up having the surgery on just the part that was causing me issues. 1. I was self pay/no insurance and 2. Again my primary care doctor told me a certain part was optional and more risky due to its level of pain and placement. So anyway I have the surgery and after getting quoted one price and paying for it beforehand because you have to when you don’t have insurance. They including the labs and anesthesia and center was 4x what I was initially quoted!! At the time no one in the office, including Lou Ann who was nice but not that nice cause she never told me about getting a good faith quote. Her… office and the surgery center took forever to give me a quote over the phone before I finally decided I could afford the original price of $4,000. But then after surgery I got all these bills totaling over $12,000 which I’m still paying for now. 1 1/2 year later. :( Also instead of putting me on follow up alternate plan that could maybe reduce the chance of having to have the same surgery again with a certain medication(I did the research it exists) she instead after my 6 month check up tried to get me to under go surgery again!! So after that I just stopped going to her all together. So recommend please advocate for yourself, do the research and please get a good faith quote if you don’t have insurance!!

Dr. Tahilramani was incredible she saved my life. She resectioned my colon and my small intestine. She is also a regular person you can have a conversation with her and she genuinely listens to your concerns. Her confidence made me understand I was going to make it through 2 difficult operations.
