Treats her patients very poorly

I went to CarePoint over the weekend to see a doctor about a broken tooth that I suspected was accessed. I had an appointment with the dentist but could no longer stand the pain, and I had been having fevers. My visit with Dr.Bahrgava started well, I gave her a history of my symptoms, she checked lymph nodes, gums etc. Then she proceeded to tell me that she did not see a broken tooth or swollen red gums, both of which were very obvious. She asked what I had been taking for pain and I told her extra strength ibuprofen (800mg) three times a day and that it was no longer effective. She ordered antibiotics for me "I'll give you antibiotics if you want" and recommended that I take 2 ibuprofen tablets (400 mg) three times a day. After my dentist appointment today I found that the tooth is infact abscessed. I was disappointed in her ability: missing obvious signs of a broken tooth and infection, and the reccomendation that I take a lesser amount of over the counter pain relievers rather than… suggesting an alternative, as well as her unprofessionalism. I am grateful for the antibiotics however, they have made a world of difference, but I don't feel I would have received them if I had not asked for them.

This so called doctor's idea of a physical for my children's yearly physical consists of only height and weight (which I could have told her myself) and listening to their heartbeats. Then she charges over $200.00 per child on my insurance. Her waiting room or practice Is NEVER busy. She is a joke of a physician, so if you want a good doctor go elsewhere. When you ask questions you get a rude and you bother me type attitude.

She is extremely compassionate, helpful, and professional.
