I have never in my life felt so dismissed, unheard, and degraded by ANY physician that I’ve seen in my life- the way that i have with this lady. Every single year during my physical i heard the same thing “nutrition this, nutrition that” as the cause of all of my problems when that is far from it. Even at my HEALTHIEST, which she can see from my medical record because I’ve been going to her for years, she still found a way to blame the way that i felt on my nutrition. Last years visit, i faced a lot of scrutiny AGAIN about diet (mind you, my healthiest I’ve ever been and the cleanest I’ve ever ate), and nutrition was still somehow the answer. People recommended i switch doctors because for the past several years i was being unheard and told the same thing. I didn’t. And i regret that whole heartedly. I came to her this year again for my physical thinking it’d be different, wanting to explain my feelings hoping we could find answers this time since it’s been a persistent feeling the… past few years. She completely dismissed, talked over me, and wouldn’t even let me finish my sentences. She was literally arguing about me telling me “i need to just do it” as I’m telling her i physically CANNOT but if it were up to me i would. Is that not alarming coming from someone with a “DR” title? Again, the answer for her was nutrition. At this point, she should just step down and be a nutritionist. Because that’s where her passion is. I will not be back.

Dr. Bachhawat has been my doctor for a few years. I trust her completely. She is very thorough and takes time to answer questions. She is very kind! She is just the best.

Dr. Reetu Bachhawat has been my elderly Mother's primary care doctor for several years. She is the best doctor I have ever met in my life. She is caring, professional, thorough, extremely intelligent and takes time during appointments to listen carefully and explain issues. My Mom has had several trips to the hospital and Dr. B is always aware of her status. Her nurse, Sue, is also wonderful. She follows up quickly any time something is needed for Mom. I highly recommend Dr. Bachhawat.
