Dr. CK is the most thorough Dr. I have ever had. She asks a lot of questions and has the skill and desire to see the whole picture.

I have never been to a doctor that was as thoughtful and took the proper amount of time to make me feel thoroughly heard as Dr. Regina Chinsio-Kwong. My first appointment with her took 2-2.5 hours, and she spent the entire time with me without leaving the examination room to see another patient (nor did she even attempt to rush through the conversation). She thoughtfully addressed every single ailment I had. Not only that, but she cares enough to try to find the best solution (whether it be labs, self-care, natural remedies) for the patient. She went even a step further and expressed interest in helping me find work at St. Joseph's, since so much of what was wrong stemmed from work-related stress. The irony is that I saw her at the St. Joseph Wellness Center as what was to be an "interim appointment" before I found my new, longer term physician following a relocation. There was no need for me to look further. She epitomizes what a physician is truly meant to be, and is in a class of… her own. I even go to her for second opinions on dental issues, because she is so informed. I will never go to another doctor as long as she is in practice, and I hope to see her continue for many years to come. I feel so fortunate to have come across such a well-rounded osteopath. I am constantly telling others about her; she has truly set herself apart from the rest.

Dr. CK is very knowledgeable in holistic body medicine and is able to diagnose the root cause with total care vs. typical doctors who simply are able to address the symptoms after lots of blood and scans. Simply said, she is a human and not a robot like many other doctors.

Dr. CK is a wonderful listener and gave me a summary of the visit which I have never had a doctor do. I feel she will be a great partner in my health care.

Dr. Chinsio-Kwong actually has a special place in my heart. Never have I ever visited a doctor who was so eager to listen, understand, and treat my problems. I admit, I have a lot of medical problems going on, but Dr. Chinsio-Kwong NEVER made me feel bad or ashamed of my problems. She does a full check up every visit, and is completely thorough in her diagnosis and treatment plan. She is certainly the cream of the crop when it comes to physicians. She is also very friendly with amazing bedside manner. Being a military veteran, she makes me proud to see the Navy has such exceptional medical doctors (as usual). I was sad to see her leave Barstow Medical Clinic, but happy she is now working at a bigger hospital where she can touch more lives and help more people. Truly an angel of a doctor, wish there were more like her out there!
