If you are looking for a doctor you can just go to and ask for meds that’s it. If you are wanting to receive ongoing care, someone that is sympathetic and caring about their patients, I’d recommend finding a new psychiatrist.

Several occasions she had no record of ever calling in an RX to my pharmacy leaving me days at a time with no refills. Also gave personal, confidential treatment information including prescribed drugs over the phone to someone I did NOT give her permission to release this information to. Final straw was she referred me to another doctor, after seeing that Dr. she sends me a letter in the mail stating she can no longer see me. Unprofessionally dressed staff. They also have no answering machine or after hour service. If I could give negative stars I would.....

Unprofessional staff- dr treats you like a number not a patient - saw this dr for quite some time but all she gave me was meds and then when I came in she couldn’t remember what she gave me or why I was there? She one made me call pharmacy to verify that she gave meds the month before then asked to talk to pharmacy while I had them on the phone to make sure I was really talking to them - she claimed she couldn’t find the records where this was called in by her staff really?

I’ve been seeing Dr Doody for almost 2 years. She is very kind and understanding, and truly cares for her patients. She has always been available via phone after hours. She is very dedicated!

I’ve been going to Dr Doody for almost year now and she has always been on time, never keeps you waiting and gets right to the issues at hand. On our initial visit she also found two medical problems that need addressing and called me to tell me to go see my family doctor ASAP. She has treated my depression and anxiety with the utmost care and has offered suggestions in facing certain situations. I’m so so glad I found her!

I was VERY fortunate to have been referred to Dr. Doody!! Her initial manner alone is enough to make you glad to share your time with her. Her intelligence and intuitiveness is of the highest degree. The respect she shows her patients certainly does put you at ease; enabling you to discuss ANYTHING with her. Professional capabilities are a standard for many others to emulate. Knowledge of medical field is profound! Dr. Doody is a bright light in a dim corner of your life! You will always be very happy you visited with her!

Dr. Doody suggested I get a second opinion from another physician. When I did so, she told me she would no longer treat me because I was now "under the care of a new doctor". She was not able to help me so she pulled a shell game. Absolutely horrible!!

Treated me for 18 months then told disability folks nothing was wrong with me while medicating me the whole time. Goes off on tangents and focuses on wrong issues constantly. Always very late. Tells you way too much about her life while not listening to yours. Avoid this doctor.

Crazy doc that gives false a diagnosis.

I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Doody--I was her patient for about 3-4 yrs. She is no longer in private practice but is on the in-patient staff with the Decatur-Morgan County hospital psych unit.
