Worst doctor

I've been going to Dr. Kurian for about 8 years. She is very thorough, takes the time to explain everything to you. She is very punctual. I truly value her expertise. Her office staff are friendly, and I can say that she is one Dr. that I don't dread going to. Plus, she has a wicked sense of humor!

Don't be fooled by positive ratings. Kurian is a doctor motivated by money and the the number of visits you schedule with her. Additionally, if you like rude office staff such as the scheduler I spoke with, you hit the jackpot! Justification for this review: As a former patient of Dr. Kurian's, I recently had a cancer test that, among other things, revealed thyroid issues. Since Kurian treated me for this issue prior to this diagnosis, I tried to schedule a follow-up appointment. Originally, Kurian told me I had nothing to be concerned about. When my cancer test came back, it suggested I get an ultrasound for the same thyroid issue. I tried to schedule the aforementioned follow-up appt. Since I followed Kurian's advise and did not get alarmed about her diagnosis, I lived with the condition until my recent test came back. Unfortunately for me, since I hadn't seen her recently, she shut the door and told me to find another doctor! I realize Kurian needs to make money… but after she told me I'm fine, I didn't feel, not was I asked to conduct regular follow-up appointments. Of course, now I realize it's all about the money. As for her rude scheduler, one can only feel sorry for someone that rude and ignorant. Don't be fooled by this doctor. Her actions and acceptance of rudeness by staff members proves she doesn't care about patients, just their $$$.

I love her work. She has helped me for many years. Very smart and kind. Top notch!

Always takes the time needed. Appointments are always on time or even early. Can’t recommend her enough.

Went to see her about my thyroid x-ray and she wouldn't let me look at it. She was in and out in 5 minutes. It was lunch time and she was late. She will never see me again.

After explaining my symptoms to Dr. Kurian, she discovered what the problem was from her examination and tests. I am most impressed because I had symptoms for many years. So until the last two years, I had been having routine appointments. I can no longer see her however because I am out of country now and don't have the insurance. I just want to say thank you for your care and kindness and amazing approach. You have the best bedside manner in any doctor from my experience and since I work In health care myself I highly attest to that.

Great physician. Listens to her patients.

Dr. Kurian knows me better than I know myself, and without even looking at my chart. I am a brittle type 1 diabetic, and she's brought me back from the brink of death a countless number of times (when I was younger, I thought I 'knew everything'). I never have trouble contacting her and getting a response - She's even called back while on vacation (she's only taken one since I began seeing her), and called my pharmacy to prescribe much-needed insulin.. On a SUNDAY, no less. After four previous endocrinologists wrote me off, thinking I was non-compliant, and said I wasn't 'fit for a pump', Dr. Kurian let me have one. If it weren't for her and the pump (and her amazing ability to know what my dosages should be without me handing over one chart or logbook), I wouldn't be alive (that's no exaggeration). I've been her patient for almost 14 years, and will be as long as she is practicing. She's amazing.

Very poor. She allows her support staff to discriminate and harass client. She even allows supports staff to practice medicine without being supervised or have a medical licence
