Dr. Reginald A Griggs, DDS

Meet Dr. Griggs
Dr. Griggs was born and raised in sunny Southern California. After graduating from high school he attended Loma Linda University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and Accounting. His interest in a health profession led him to Dental School at UCLA. He graduated from UCLA with the highest of honors and was elected into Omicron Kappa Upsilon, a national honor dental society, awarded to the top 10% of each graduation class.
Dr. Griggs then moved to northern California to further his studies in Orthodontics at UCSF, where he received his Orthodontic degree in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics in 1985. Dr. Griggs has been in the specialty
practice of Orthodontics in Castro Valley since his graduation from UCSF. He served on the faculty of UCSF as an Associate Clinical Professor from 1986 to 2003, while maintaining an active practice in Castro Valley. He has stayed actively involved in numerous community activities in Castro …Valley, Oakland, and San Leandro.
Dr. Griggs resides in Oakland with his wife and their two children, a son and a daughter. Dr. Griggs enjoys golfing, skiing and spending quality time with his family.
