Dr. Rei-Kwen Kwen Chiou, MD

We are full time RVer's and during a visit to Roseburg my husband had a kidney stone episode, after going to Mercy ER we were given the names of 2 Urologist. We called Roseburg Urology and we were able to get right in to see Dr Chiou. He was very informative, understanding about our schedule and my husbands needs. Dennis is hard of hearing, and at his appointment Dr Choiu spoke into an amplifier, a small karaoke machine and for the first time he could hear a Dr without me repeating. A real bonus. A very personal touch to an appointment. Procedures were done and we needed to leave the area unfortunately, Dennis still had a stint and now smaller stones in place. Our next move was to the Bend area. We had planned to drive back to Roseburg to have the stint removed. Well, Dr Chiou's office called and wanted to know when we would be back in Roseburg. We told them the only reason we were going back to Rosegurg at this time, was to see him and that we were currently in Bend. Dr… Chiou said he had no problem with Dennis going to a Bend urologist, he just wanted to make sure he went to a Dr. We didn't even think that was an option! So we did go to a Bend urologist and Dennis ultimately had to have his stones lasers which was what Dr Chiou had advised us to be the ultimate answer. I was also told by the Bend Urology office that Dr Chiou's office was so great to work with and they were surprised as to how quickly they sent Dennis' records. The office staff was so awesome in getting procedures scheduled with only a couple of days to accommodate us. We would definately recommend Dr Chiou and his staff.

Dr. Chiou failed to help my father for two months. He was seen in emergency 2 times and the doctors office over 4 times and the doctor failed to help him. We eventually found out his bladder is not working! But 2 months of severe pain for the doctor to do the right thing.
