Dr. Ferguson earned her M.D. and M.P.H. from The George Washington University in Washington, DC, and completed her residency in the U.S. Navy, where she was Chief Resident.She ran a Navy mental health clinic and substance abuse clinic before leaving to become a staff psychiatrist at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital. For the last decade, Dr. Ferguson has been in private practice in the Three Village area of Long Island.Dr. Ferguson sees patients for medication management, psychotherapy, TMS, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).She is on the Women’s Health Advisory Council for healthywomen.org, and a Board member of the Independent Group Home Living Program, Inc. HORRIBLE.I was insulted by the doctor on my 1st visit and pressured to sign up for more services within minutes of my visit. Dr Ferguson's sole focus was to try to upsell me on her services + pressured me to check my insurance to see if they would approve more services. When I declined, they were dismissive and shuffled me off. During my first two ketamine treatments, I do not believe any ketamine was administered at all but just plain saline solution. I have two years experience with ketamine treatments and the dosage but had zero feeling medicine was administered at all. I asked and was given a new nurse on 3rd treatment but still felt it did not seem right. I was never able to see the doctor and she did not return calls or emails. The clinic scammed me out 3 treatment worth $1500 after their scheduler made a mistake and failed to record my request to pause. They claimed I no-showed on last 3 and charged me full value for each. No one ever responded to my recorded pause request VM.

Best part of the experience was dealing with the nurse that performed all six off my Ketamine procedures. Dana Saparito was kind, caring, and very knowledgeable in any of the Ketamine questions I had for her concerning the overall procedure. Dana made the experience so much easier for me to get through the six procedures. I felt safe and that I was in great hands through out. If you are lucky enough to get Dana at any time with the Ketamine procedures, you have nothing to worry about.

She believes that patients benefit from their diseases. She’s cynical and tends to see the worst in her patients while charging them random fees.

HORRIBLE! Terrible staff! They don’t fill your meds no matter how many times you call the incompetent receptionist. Doctor relocates her office yearly and requests multiple unnecessary appointments. Changing doctors.. stay away!!

Before coming to Dr. Ferguson I saw a Dr. that would meet with me for literally two minutes. I found this was not helping me and I needed more time talking to a Dr. I decided to look for a new Dr. and I'm so glad I found Dr. Ferguson. She is very knowledgeable in psychiatry, easy to talk to, and she meets with you for a good amount of time. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Ferguson and her office team were professional, warm, and accommodating when I found myself on vacation on Eastern Long Island without sufficient medication. Based on my experience, I can highly recommend Dr. Ferguson!
