Dr. Rena Dell Salyer, DO

so thankful to have seen such a kind doctor that really listened to my complaints sorry it took 4 moths to post

Dr Salyer saw my Dad in her ER. She took the time to let him explain what was wrong, despite that it took a long time due to his previous stroke. She joked with him and made him very comfortable. After that, she met with the family outside his room to get "the rest of the story". She preserved his dignity while letting us know she would examine all areas we were concerned with. And that, she did. She caught things that his own doctor never had and referred us to 2 specialists. I can not thank her enough for her caring, compassionate and thorough care.

Dr Salyer was so down to earth! She sat with me, explained her thoughts on what was going on, what tests we would do and how long it may take. At the end of it all, she reviewed the test results and made sure I knew what to do. I don't know if all ER doctors take time like this with a patient, but I sure appreciated it.

Caring and considerate! Really cares about us veterans

I have been treated by Dr. Salyer many times and am always impressed by her ability to get to the heart of the problem. She's a very direct person who understands how to talk to someone without upsetting them. I've had problems with my back and feet and she takes the time to tell me, without need for further question, what I need to change to prevent future problems. She is very knowledgable about medicine (as she should be) and devotes countless hours to ensure her patients are cared for. While I've seen other Dr's move slowly through the ER, Dr. Salyer was constantly on the move (even with a cast on one foot) treating patients and reviewing records. She is a great Dr and I hope that if my life depended on it, that she is the Dr working on me.For the record: I rated Dr. Salyer with 4 stars overall for question #1. She is actually worthy of 5 stars... I hope you fix the webpage to accurately reflect her professionalism.
