Dr. Renanit Elkayam Barron, MD

I am a new patient and I made my appointment weeks ago with Dr. Renait Barron. I recently began receiving emails that my appointment was with someone else in her office. I called to inquire and Jacob, (who was very kind), informed me that Dr. Barron switched me to her NP, but I can request to see the doctor, who will see me only if she is available. I then spoke with Tequaia, the office manager, who began yelling at me that 'I WILL NEVER BE GUARANTEED THAT I WILL EVER SEE DR. BARRON'. Tequaia proceeded to say that, 'SHE IS JACOB'S BOSS AND HE HAD NO RIGHT TELLING ME I COULD POSSIBLY SEE THE DOCTOR! So I immediately canceled my appointment for that day and hung up in shock!! The billing dept., later called me and told me they have a $50.00 no show policy. I told them they switched my appointment without my knowledge or approval. Dr Renanit Barron is very bright and she listens. You may have to wait but you will not be rushed once with the doctor. I have found that the best doctors are the ones who do not rush you in and out. Communication combined with lab values will produce the best results. This doctor will find your problem if you will be patient. One negative aspect is the front desk at the WPB office. Never know if the phone will be answered or not. This is very aggravating and not professional. This issue must be fixed. When you need your doctor, someone should answer the telephone.

Plan to wait an average of 1 hour past your scheduled appointment. Had some questionable blood work results, called 5 times over a 3 week period to hopefully speak to her. No call...dont engage, find someone else, I will

She knows her field and has listened and reduced her wait time to see her. I've been there three times now and waits were all under 30 minutes. She has helped me tremendously controlling my blood work with Synthroid.

Takes personal messages from her children while she is speaking with you. Very unprofessional.

I have an appointment at 8:20am and her MA has to call and wake her up ! And then she shows up a hour later! She doesn't have consideration for anyone else.... I had to reschedule 8 patients to come to this appointment and she doesn't even walk in until a hour after my appointment time!!! Just plain out rude!!

I script made all the difference. I feel better than I have for months. I am controlling weight better.

Dr. Barron made me wait over 2 hours for my appointment that I set 3 months in advance. I asked if this was normal and she told me that it was my fault that I scheduled my appointment on a Thursday. I guess Thursday is a busy day for her. Now the office is calling me for a bill for $5 that was from them charging me the wrong copay almost one year ago. I would NEVER recommend this doctor to ANYONE.

The best. 5 stars is not enough. She is on top of new drugs. Easy to talk with. Clearlyone of the best
