Dr. Renato Jimenez Briones, MD

On Friday, August 12, 2017, I had surgery in which Dr. Briones performed it. He removed a lipoma from my shoulder. Dr. Briones was professional and detailed in explaining my procedure. I am pleased and satisfied with the outcome.

Dr. Briones is a kind and caring man. He is everything a Doctor should be. He is part of a team that also have these qualities. While still in the hospital after surgery Dr. Briones and each of his partners checked in on me . After checking on my incision, bandages etc. , each sat down and just "shot the breeze" with me. Outstanding care with compassion from a team of really good people.

I felt confident, comfortable and well cared for.

Beware, this dr. is good at his job but his billing practices are questionable. He "recommends" you get the surgery done at the surgical center and when you go in they say "did you sign off that you are aware dr. briones is an investment partner in this facility?". Of course the answer is no because they don't tell you that during the initial visit. Then when you have no choice but to sign and say you understand, you are given an estimate of the cost of the procedure. That estimate is extremely low compared to what they actually bill your health care provider. To top it off, when you schedule your "follow up visit" the dr. says this visit is at no cost, yet about a week after the visit there is another "check up" claim on your health care bill. Now I understand why health care costs are so high. False estimates, gross over billing, and outright lies. Make sure you have deep pockets before going to this guy.
