Summary
Dr. Renato Calugcugan was raised in the Philippines and attend Central Escolar University for General Dentistry. After graduating in 1978, he practiced dentistry for 2 years and found himself transferring to The United States. In 1986, Dr. Calugcugan received his California Dental license and immediately began practicing in the Southern California area. Soon after, in 1993, he opened his first US practice located in Los Angeles, Ca. and since then, Dr. Calugcugan has seen over 3000 patients.
Dr. Calugcugan is a strong believer in continuing education; therefore, he studied Progressive Orthodontics and Endodontics at UCLA in 1999 and 2000 respectively. These two fields allow Dr. Calugcugan to treat a higher range of dental procedures and allows his patients to remain in his office without referrals.
Dr. Calugcugan is married to his beautiful wife, Priscilla Legaspi, who is also a practicing dentist in Los Angeles and Oxnard, Ca. Dr. Calugcugan is a member of The American Dental …Association, The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentist, The California Dental Association, and The Southern California Filipino Dental Society where he is also their President.
