I have always felt confident with Dr. Concepcion. I look forward to my appointments and trust him based on my 40 years of experience as a Type 1 diabetic.

Dr. Concepción is a wonderful doctor. He is patient, kind and extremely knowledgeable. I have never felt rushed or not cared for while seeing him. I have referred him and will continue to refer him to anyone. I know that needs an excellent endocrinologist.

Dr Concepcion is one of the best -and most thorough- doctors I have ever had in my entire 50 years of life. His knowledge and experience in the field of endocrinology is unmatched. He ran lab tests on me for things I didnt even know existed... and was always spot on for what he was looking for. He cuts no corners. He goes above & beyond until he gets the answers you need. And he is very professional. In addition to being an extremely intelligent & competent physician, he is also a kind, caring, & compassionate human being. He was my endo in Tampa from 2001 to 2004. I still live in the Tampa Bay area and am very sad to learn he has relocated to the Ft Myers area, because I need to resume endocrinology care again and I know I wont find a doc as good as him. But to all Lee Health endo patients: you are blessed to have Dr Concepcion as your provider. And you are in excellent hands. -Jennifer Neel-Chase

I took my wife to this Endocrinologist as he came recommended. We found the visit to be rushed, almost to the degree of being rude, and was unable to satisfy us with basic medical questions. My wife has suspected Cushings Syndrome. When asked how many patients have you treated with Cushings, his reply was "I have been practicing over 20 years"......In other words he knows little about this medical problem and has treated a very few or none at all. Lee Health has a few good doctors, but many that are inferior. He would meet the latter ! Please do not waste your time and money on this physician. Like any occupation, there are knowledgeable employees and there are some that refuse to accept their lack of knowledge. Personally, I would avoid this doctor.

We had an appointment and we were expecting to wait for hours like most other Doctors, not so with Dr Renato Concepsion we were seen at the scheduled time. He took his time and asked lots of questions instead of just prescribing a bunch of test and procedures. He answered all our questions and was a pleasure to deal with. We will never go anywhere else for care or treatment.

I was a Tampa patient until he closed his office and left town without any notice -- no phone call, letter, or email. New office says that he's not refilling any prescriptions for Tampa patients and I will run out of meds before new doctor can see me. Stay away from him. No telling where he'll end up next.

Excellent doctor, I saw him for over 16 years. sadly, he has moved to Fort Myers
