Dr. De los Santos was a truly beautiful man. Always there for all of his patients. I first met him at a time when this strong person, me was at my lowest. His strong, yet gentle approach taught me a lot about myself and how to avoid the pitfalls that plagued me. He is truly missed. ??

Dr. Renato De Los Santos is a horrible MD. Was admitted to Alexian Bros Psych Unit and he over drugged with sedatives and has no remorse. Run AWAY!!!

10 years ago my daughter,age 20 at that time, was under his care, if you could call it that, while at Alexian Brothers Behavioral CareCare, initially for treatment of anoxia. He treated her for depression, eventually giving her a drug at twice the threshold dosage given by the pharmaceutical company. It was not to be given to teenagers, which she was just past. Nor was it to be given to someone with bipolar disorder, which he missed diagnosising. She was given it at night, and with the high dosage, developed restless leg syndrome, which kept her awake, finally causing her to bang her head against a wall in frustration. That along with dilated pupils and episodes of rapid heartbeat from the meds he prescribed. When I persued all of this with the director, there was none of this on her chart, even though she reported all of the reactions. The day she left, she went to another doctor who reduced dosages and flipped the times to take them. She immediately improved. Then she went to… another facility to get her system cleared of those meds. Instead of missing a few weeks of school for treatment of anoxia, she missed a whole term.

WHEN YOU FIRST MEET HIM, YOU THINK HE IS CARING, BUT HE HAS NO FOLLOW UP WITH THE PATIENT OR THE FAMILY. HE PUT MY FATHER IN FOR MEDICINE MANAGEMENT, WE TOLD HIM SOMETHING WAS WRONG, HE DID NOTHING AND A WEEK LATER MY FATHER DIED....
