Dr. Rene Blaha, MD

He didn't have answers for a lot of my questions and seemed to only care about prescribing supplements $$$. He prescribed me over 10 different supplements costing me almost $400 (This did not include the visit price). I didn't realize until it was too late that 3 of these supplements had high amounts of vitamin B6 in them. High amounts of B6 is known to cause neuropathy. The recommended dosage for B6 is 1.3mg per day. Two of these supplements alone had 10mg each. He had me taking over 30mg of B6 a day. I have an issue with kidney clearance as well and he knew this. On day 2 of taking these supplements I developed neuropathy in my feet that still hasn't went away. Called to talk to him about this and he wouldn't talk to me unless I pay for a telephone appointment. The negligence of this doctor is scary. Never trust someone that throws a bunch of supplements at you and does ZERO blood work/testing beforehand. Now I lost over $1000 and have nerve pain. Learn from my mistake!

Patient died as a result. Dr. Blaha was sued and lost.
