Dr. Rene Casanova, MD

but I have never seen this doctor but my father has been going to him for several years. From what my father has said, at least a year ago, I told him he needed to get a new doctor. I was afraid for his health. Now my father is in the hospital because Dr. Casanova did not order tests that were needed, my father had to call the office several times inquiring about results from tests, and he gave a wrong diagnosis. I have been researching doctors and will be having my father's records transferred immediately.

This review is not about Dr. casanova, but his staff. I never got to see him, but his PA - Mr. Alvarez. Two days ago my husbang was diagnosed at the same location (but different PA, who was extremely helpful) with infectious disease. The PA advised my husband to send me over, if I develope simillar symptoms. So I did and went there two days later and was seen by this guy Alvarez. I was shocked, when he refused to test me, saying that i do not look like having this disease and that I should take something for pain and stay in bed. After I repeatedly asked him to be tested, he finally ordered the test, which came up positive!!! This guy did not even have the courtesy to come and see me again to at least apologize, he just sent a nurse to give me a prescription. This person definitely does not give Dr. Casanova and Helix good name. I can say that I will never go back there again and never recommend this place to anyone. Dr. Casanova lost at least 5 patients ( my family) because of… Alvarez. Way to go Mr. Alvarez!!!!

Dr Casanova was good, but his front office is a mess. They don't follow through or do what they promise. It takes multiple calls to get basic tasks done. Best to avoid this office hassle

Dr. Casanova took very good care of me when I needed medical care recently. Clean office with friendly staff, short wait time. All in all, the visit took less than 45 minutes and even though they were quite busy, the doctor spent plenty of time with me.I would highly recommend Helix or Dr. Casanova should I need to see a doctor for anything.

As a out-of-town patient, I felt lucky to have been cared for by Dr. Casanova and her staff. Very thorough and professional care! Thank you for your care!

dont bother. he is unprofessional rude and nasty. doesnt care about his patients, just about his paycheck.

Great doc. Easy personality. Not pontificating jerk like many. Gets to it and gets you back to your life.
