Dr. Rene Louis Deboisblanc, MD

I was transferred to Rene from another Dr. I went in to the EJ Wound Care Center where all he had to do was check my wound (it was already healed) and send me away. He only said 2 things to me and then asked, "any questions?", leaving the patient to do all of the rest of the work in trying to think of what questions might come up in the course of taking care of the wound at home ( I still had to do some wound care by myself at home). So that put me in the position of having to ask him 15 questions, while I squirmed uncomfortably. He should have offered me a well-hashed out protocol/plan- instead he told me 2 things then looked at me like I should 'know' what to do. There were 2 nursing assistants there and the only thing they told me was "do you have nay questions?" :/ I am the student, you are the teachers, and you are supposed to provide me the answers before I have to ask them. That is what experts are supposed to do- they aren't supposed to ask you to come up with the questions. I… was completely caught off guard. Like, a dentist explains things without me having to ask- why not this Dr. too?

Not a surgeon. He was in part responsible for the death of my mother.

This is an uncaring and incompetent doctor. And when he walked in to see my family member, his white coat was filthy, he had blood and pus all over his white coat. He was unfriendly and very condescending. He represents the worst medical care.
