Dr. Rene Walter Guardia, MD

If I could give Dr Guardia zero stars I would. My children’s stepmom took the children her, the doctor did not verifiy that she was the mom. He spoke only spanish to the stepmother in front of the children knowing the children 10 and 12 speak only english. He is on recording saying she listed herself as stepmom and has since changed his story again recorded and they falsified paperwork. I am proceeding forward with criminal charges. He is being investigated. His clinic is in bad condition and doesn't even look sanitary.

El consultorio es pequeño lo que hace la experiencia con el pediatra mucho mas personal , te atiende con cordialidad e interés. Mi hija de 20 meses sufre de estreñimiento, fui con otros pediatras pero ninguno me ayudo , El Dr Guardia me dio consejos de alimentación y me envío un medicamento muy suave que gradualmente le ayudo con su problema. Sabia intentado con 4 pediatras y con ninguno me sentía bien !! Estoy feliz con el Dr Guardia.

my children has seen dr.Guardia for 3 and a half years and my only complaint is that sometimes the wait time is long, and it would be nice if they had a sick vs well child waiting room. But dr. Guardia is a wonderful doctor, he takes his time, he shows great concern, and will never leave a stone unturned. He is very respectful and worried about the safty of children. His wife is also great, she treat you like family and is very loving with my children. I would highly recomend Dr. Guardia.

I took my 2 week old to get a check up there. As soon as I walked it was disgustiing and dirty.. When they called us in to the back the room had nothing there except a counter and small sink. He was very rude to me and inconsiderate. DO NOT GO THERE!!!! Especially with a NEW BABY!!!

the doctor is really snobby hes rude and unconsiderate i will never go there EVER AGAIN just dont waste your time horrible horrible experience

Dr. Rene offered Saturday hours, accepted medicaid, and was close to our Katy home so it sounded like a great idea to check into him further. His office is very small, he rushes your visit time with him, doesn't listen well to your concerns, has a pretense to give his medical opinion and doesn't want you to ask questions or he becomes frustrated and insistent. Further, his wife co-runs the office with him and has poor bedside manner, makes innappropriate comments that imply impatience with children and frustration. This happened twice with my family. The office wait is >1 long WITH appointment and usually crowded (no seperate sick patient/well patient waiting room). My infant went for initial vacinations and caught an infection from the office visit. If you must find a Katy pediatrician that accepts Medicaid - he may be your only option.

dr guardia does not take the time with his patients and does not explain things as he is supposed to and he gives the wrong diagnostics his staff is very rude and so is he.
