Dr. Rene Herrera, DDS

Dr. Rene Herrera was born in Bogotá Colombia. He began his dentistry career shortly after he graduated from Universidad Odontologia-Colombiana in 1991. After 10 years of practicing general dentistry in his native country, Dr. Herrera moved to Orange County, California to begin a new journey. Dr. Herrera obtained his license to practice General Dentistry in the state of California in 2003 and after a little more than a year of serving the community of Orange County and LA county as a dentist, he decided to move to Bakersfield to raise his family and start his own practice. In 2005, he opened his first office in Porterville and since then he has been helping the community with all dental necessities. Oral surgery, extractions, implants, preventive care, restorative and cosmetic dental procedures, among all other things. Dr. Herrera is a father of two sons. As a father he cares and takes pride in his family. He cares the same way for all of his patients', and that is why Dr. Herrera’s …patient usually bring in their own families. One of Dr. Herrera's promises is to treat his patients not only as patients but as family. Dr. Rene Herrera is now offering his care and expertise in Bakersfield, California too. Dr. Herrera is a member of American Dental Association (ADA), The California Dental Association (CDA), and Fast Braces Program.
