Dr Rene Morell

I went to see Rene A. Morell at the WellStar Cobb Gynecologists Austell on Mulkey Road. This was the worst experience I have had at a gynecologist. First, the nurse brought me to the room and told me to get undressed from the waist down. I waited for the doctor for 30 MINUTES with no bottoms on! I was very uncomfortable. When he finally came into the room, he introduced himself and he had a female student with him. He asked me a couple of questions and then started the exam. He was extremely rough while he was checking my pelvis. I allowed the female student to check as well and she was gentle. He prescribed me a new birth control without telling me why so I had to ask. When the exam was over, they left the room and I got dressed. When I stepped out of the room, he was sitting at a computer while his student was standing behind him. He spoke to the student as if I was not standing there saying, “This is the type of birth control that we prescribe to patients who are a… little over weight”. He goes on to say this 2 more times while not addressing me at all! Little does he know that I have already lost 25 pounds, but he wouldn’t know that because he did not ask. He handed me my discharge papers and to my dismay he typed in the papers, “During the visit we discussed her ideal weight, and expect this number to improve by the next visit”. I did not read this until I was out of the building otherwise he would have gotten a piece of my mind. He discussed nothing with me directly! I can’t believe that someone would say this without addressing it with me and on top of that saying he expected this number to change. Mind you is was not skinny himself. I immediately called to get a new gynecologist in East Cobb. Steer clear!

awesome, compassionate doctor. He sits and take the time to make sure you understand diagnosis. I would highly recommend he to others.

Horrible!!!! Will mess you up for life!!!!!
