Dr. Renee Marie Caputo, MD

Dr. Caputo is THE absolute best. She is very patient with me and is trying everything to figure out why I keep getting UTIs. Highly recommend her for care.

I am so thankful for the referral I received from my GYN . Today Dr Caputo provided me HOPE. After several years of different medications and procedures I went to Dr. Caputo for a second urology opinion. Loved the fact she specialized in this specific needed area. She first listened, examined and than provided me information based on my body, my anatomy . What a fresh relief to collaborate with my provider. To set a goal that I fill comfortable and confidant about. So goodbye to medications and intrusive procedures and hello to my new provider and pelvic floor therapy! Thank you.

While I also blame my PCP for referring me to Dr. Caputo when I began to pee blood and had terrible pain, I certainly blame her and her staff for delaying proper treatment for me for over two years. She diagnosed me with spasms and menopause and "all the things common to [my] age," because *it is what they do there*, not because it fit my symptoms. When they proved unable to address my symptoms after months of treatment, they blamed me and got very angry. When I suggested that there might be something more than "spasms" going on (which by then they had "eliminated" anyway), I was simply told, "We don't treat bladder issues here!" I have finally found that I have a huge blade-edged bladder stone, formed on a surgical staple left behind. This could have been found two years ago with a simple cystoscopy, but this doctor and her staff are too proud of their edgy "new" diagnoses to consider an old standby... Go And Look!

brought my family member to her for surgery. after the surgery, she didn't even have the respect to talk with us directly after the procedure. when my family member was almost given a blood thinner by accident just a couple hours after the surgery and we mentioned it to her, she became outraged to the point my family member was afraid to go back to her. she totally lacked a bed side manner. very disappointed with her.

I have very little to say that is decent about this woman! Not only is was she rude to me but she was rude to my family, friends and Primary doctor after my procedure! I don't ever want to deal with this woman ever again! She is a bully as another patient warned and she extremely egotistical! What happened to caring for your patient and putting them at ease! This woman removed all meds from me especially pain meds for six and a half hours directly after major surgery! Who tortures a patient like that? I would not refer her to a dying person because she would only laugh in their face and walk away! This was the WORST experience I have had in my entire life! Why would I ever go back to an ego maniac like her?

I have been seeing Dr. Caputo for well over 6 months. Prior to seeing her, I had had a laparoscopy, diagnosing fairly severe endometriosis; I had also had a cystoscopy looking for Interstitial Cystitis- with the results being completely negative. After a few visits with her, she began to only treat me for Interstitial Cystitis and even went on to say that it's most likely my doctor that did the laparoscopy and diagnosed me with Endometriosis misdiagnosed me, even when my Doctor said it was one of the most severe cases he had ever seen. She is also unwilling to send you to other doctors. I have horrible trigger points in my bottom, to the point that my Coccyx tucks up and under at around a 20 degree angle. She was unwilling to refer me to a pain specialist that could perform trigger point injections around my coccyx to help release those muscles which are causing it to tuck. She stated that she wanted to be the one to figure out what's wrong with me- even though I've been waiting for… some solution to this severe pain that has wreaked over 3 years of havoc on my body and life. I believe she is a rather egotistical person, and is just trying to become recognized as the number one pelvic floor specialist. Just a forewarning.

After being told that I needed an invasive procedure to diagnose my issue by another physician, I saw Dr. Caputo who told me it wasn't necessary. She was the first Dr. Who understood my issue & provided me with options that made sense to me. Finally... Someone who listens to me and is knowledgable about my condition!

What is most memorable to me is that when I needed this lady to use her expertise towards my healing process, she was so wrapped up in herself that she could care less about her patient! There is a such thing as bedside manner and then there is this lady that barks at you instead of talks to you! If she doesn't like her job she should do something else! Clearly she is not a happy person! My family came from out of town for my surgery and wondered where did I find someone this rude and dry? I would NEVER recommend anyone go to her! She is Rude, bitter and not the doctor for you if you are looking for a caring doctor! Please look elsewhere!!!!!

I am so disappointed with my experience with this Doctor! I had surgery, woke up in excruciating pain because she used meds or products on me that I'm allergic too! After my procedure she turned into someone I didn't recognize! Her bedside manner was the worst of any doctor I've ever seen or experienced! She is so self absorbed that the patient no longer matters! She throws around how long she has practiced in contrast to actually caring for her patient! I felt like I was going to die while she was busy bullying the nurses and me! She doesn't have a caring bone in her body!

Dr. Caputo is an excellent doctor. She quickly diagnosed my problem and recommended treatment that did not involve surgery as another physician had. I would highly recommend her to anyone.
