I do not recommend.

After waiting over two hours to visit the "Pain Specialist", my issues and symptoms were dismissed and I was told to increase the medication I was taking that was ineffective to some ridiculous dose. As it turns out I was being treated for nerve pain when my problem was inflammation. My Mayo Clinic experience sent me from place to place, and I was again sent to another doctor for a consult/treatment...now Physical Medicine (scheduled more than a month away). I went on my own to a spine specialist who diagnosed me and gave me effective treatment after the first visit. They explained what was going on, showed me my films and gave me a treatment plan. My biggest complaint with Mayo and this physician was not to be given an adequate explanation to the cause of my symptoms and how they could be corrected. I found the Mayo Clinic experience....that is, the run around and referring from doc to doc to be a waste of time and money. I never plan on returning there again.
