We had the worst experience one can imagine. We should have known from the moment we were asked to keep a credit card on file inspite of the fact that we paid for the "services" rendered on the spot. This would later come back to bite us as there was an additional $700 plus withdrawn from my account without my permission, and as the office manager assured me that this would not be the case. I continued to make phone calls leaving messages to which I had no reply. On those occasions where the office manager happened to answer the call, I was assured that I would be receiving a call back so that we could address the situation. Never happened, they took the money never to be heard from again. One visit here costs us over $1000 dollars (this is the amount we ended up paying and does not even include what the insurance also paid to them). I had explained how very important it was that we know what the total bill would be as I was still paying off two life saving surgeries I had undergone… due to a doctor's error (total of three surgeries in less than one month's time), and now here we are with an additional unexpected bill. If that weren't bad enough, Dr. Cobos has a very cold and apathetic bedside manner and proved that she is there for only the paycheck and not the well being of her patients (and here I had chosen her because I incorrectly assumed that her work with St. Jude would prove her to be a professional and caring doctor, big mistake). Lastly, the medical procedures I underwent turned out not only to be a waste of time and money, but also left me with an ugly scar in one area and absolutely no results in another area for which I should have had a good result (thankfully I was referred to a kind, caring and professional doctor that was able to provide me with the medical assistance I was seeking). BEWARE OF THIS DOCTOR AND THE BILLING PRACTICES HERE. I have never had such a dishonest and negative experience!

My name is Fariba. I have been coming to Dr Cobos for about a year now. I came to her with 3rd degree burn scars from a long time ago. She mentioned a procedure called Sculptra . I started getting Sculptra every two months starting a year ago. My scars are much smoother, no more feeling of tightness or stiffness. I have never gotten so many compliments from friends and family members. I feel great and I feel more confident with diminishing my scars. Dr Cobos' confidence in what she is doing has given me more confidence in myself. She is very precise in every step of what she has planned out for me. I thank her for doing Sculptra on me. In and out the same day, not like going under the knife each time for my scars. I am so lucky for her to take me as a pro bono patient, since I have MediCal and no way of paying for these procedures. She is an angel sent my way.

Dr Cobos is one of the best dermatologists that I have been to . She is very thorough,spends time to ask the questions necessary to correctly diagnose the problem and then gives treatment that is not only understandable, but easy to do and cost effective.I had been to 2 other dermatologists who rushed me . I didn't fell that they had really listened to me or what I was worried about

This doctor is amazing. Anybody who has a skin problem or wants a cosmetic procedure I would recommend this doctor.

Growing up, acne had always been a problem for me. When I turned 15, my acne worsened. I started using all of the over the counter medications in the store but had little to no improvement with them. I hated looking at myself in the mirror, I avoided mirrors, looking at my skin would ruin my day. I would dread taking school id pictures, any pictures. My self esteem was at its lowest. I felt that when people would talk to me they would look at my skin rather than have eye contact. My fear was always going out anywhere such as the mall , there would always be someone that would recommend some cream, tea, etc for my skin. My confidence was at its lowest , I was constantly reminded of my acne. I did not want to go on Accutane, even though it seemed like that was the only thing that would help me. I had really lost all hope. I thought acne was just something I was going to have to deal with and cover up with makeup, until one night while on the internet I came across Dr. Cobos website. I… called the next day and made an appointment. After meeting Dr.Cobos and her staff, my mom and I both had tears of joy and I had hope again. Dr. Cobos spoke to me about a treatment that she is doing for acne that she has had great results with. In one treatment, acne clears within 3-4 weeks and the results will last about 1 1/2 to 2 years. She told me that even with my severe acne, that I should see a great result, and that I might not even need to take any more medication. It took an hour to do, didn't hurt, and I went back to my regular activities right afterwards. Within a week, my acne had improved by at least 60%. Now 4 months later, my skin has improved nearly 90%. It was truly a miracle! My self esteem has gone up; I don't try to hide now. I have received compliments on my improvement.

This is the best doctor in Orange County.She really cares about her patients. She spent more time with me then any other doctor ever has. She did a thermage treatment and took 10-15 years off my looks in 1 hour.I have also had acne care and mole removal. All experiences have been great. I also like that she is a women. Im uncomfortable with a male doctor. The women touch is really different.
