Dr. Renee Okja Dyess, MD

She was nice in the beginning. I ask many questions about certain health issues. Never got a straight answer. Took over 2 years for her to run the correct test to only be told to have surgery. No communication skills on the behalf of Iboney or Ivory. I would not recommend her.

It took this doctor over 2 years to figure out my gall bladder had to be removed. Suffered in pain until she could order the correct tests. To afraid to speak the truth. Take an oath to hurt not to heal. And go in back pain. Took forever to get a test done. Still I would never recommend her.

Dr. Dyess has been my doctor for 8 years. She takes time to talk to you and respects your feelings.

She does not listen to complaint of what is bothering you. She is very dismissive; makes you feel as though you don't know your body. Discontinued medication that was taking for years that was beneficial to continued health. Had a stroke and stroke doctor added a medication to prevent future strokes. Dr Dyess is trying to take this medication away. Had to aggressively tell her that this medicine was needed when it was time for a refill to be written. However, instead of prescribing a monthly supply, she only wrote a prescription for eight pills.

She takes time and listens to the patient. Her support staff is excellent as well.

Rude, quick, never gave a reason why I was sick

Dr. Dyess made me feel as if I were the only patient she had - she took her time, was very thorough, and answered all my questions. The wait was not too long - it does vary from an hour to 15 mins. But, with the excellent care given - I'd wait longer to see her. Good Bedside Manner! Great Doctor!!
