Dr. Renee Tzongrong Shiao, MD

I have heard great things about a few of the doctors here, but I just hope to God no one ever has to go see Renee Shiao... and if you do, to think twice about going to her. My first appointment with her she didn't listen to a word I said and the paperwork proved it. I have never left an appointment crying because the doctor was so blatantly rude and refused to listen, until seeing her. Then when asking to change to my mom's doctor - she denied my request with a see her or change practices. I cant see a doctor from that practice because she refuses to release me from her care. I hope she never puts another patient through any of this!

I went to her to follow up on a pre-cancerous condition. She was supposed to biopsy my esophagus during my EGD. She didn't biopsy because she said it looked fine. Unless she can see microscopic changes with the naked eye she should have biopsied the area. Now I have to go to a real doctor to get the treatment I need. I would never recommend this woman.
