Renjitha T. Ignatius, MD

Dr. Ignatius has been treating me for over two years. She is a talented physician with a great staff who support her. She is very friendly and patient. She takes time to listen to my concerns and answers all of my questions. As a result my CLL is improving. I am so thankful to have Dr. Ignatius as my Oncologist.

My mom has been under the care of Dr. Ignatius for four years. Dr. Ignatius has been the same kind- hearted, knowledgeable and compassionate physician since day one. She truly cares about her patients and their families. With every appointment she explains the next treatment steps and she never makes us feel rushed. Sometimes, I am unable to accompany mom to her appointments and Dr. Ignatius always call me so that I am still apart of the appointment. The office is very clean and the staff is super friendly.

Cancer as a disease is frustrating and very tough. But good oncologists like you make this illness a little less rough I want you to know I think you’re doing a wonderful job. You made my husband feel safe, cared for, and comfortable. Thanks for your warmth, humor, care, and attention.

Dr. Ignatius is one of the most compassionate and knowledgeable oncologists I have had. I am a military spouse so as a result I have seen other oncologists when we’ve had to relocate. Dr. Ignatius will go out of her way to leave no stone unturned when it comes to providing excellent care for her patients. In fact, she was able to find what was going on with my health when others did not. I’m am improving everyday and it is because of her. My quality of life has increased. Another thing that I like about her is her ability to see her patients as a member of the team when it comes to medical decisions. When you are dealing with possible life threatening illnesses and/or those that impact quality of life you feel a sense of loss of self and a loss of control over your own body. By having a doctor who empowers you to be part of your own treatment plan you can some of the control back that you’ve lost. I would recommend her services to anyone fighting cancer or other significant… diseases. I have met many oncologists since my original diagnosis and I would recommend her in heartbeat.
