Dr. Renu Dhar, MD

My mom went to see her yesterday. When she walked in, she was out of it, spaced out like she was on drugs. My mom was in severe Pain from a UTI. She actually discharged my mom with no instructions or information on what medications she prescribed or what pharmacy she sent the medicine to. She barely even spoke to my mom and just walked out of the room and discharged her. Didn't verbally tell her what was wrong and the printed forms didn't have instructions either. Only after speaking to the Office Manager did they actually give my mom a shot of Antibiotics. She wasn't given anything for pain. The staff told her they don't give pain meds for UTIs. That's kind of understandable but my mom had been crying the night before from pain. The Office Manager told us they would talk to this Dr. Idk if they did or not. They're not going to put my mom with this DR again but my fear is that this DR is not in her right mind and can actually do harm to her patients.

I am a 71 year old man, and when I was a patient of Dr Dhar's I was not pleased at all. I was used to spending a good amount of time with other doctors, but she thinks an annual exam is about two minutes long. I have multiple medical problems including being a cancer survivor and very large prostate among other things. She never asked questions about any of my problems. as she was heading for the door, she would ask if there were any problems. three separate times it took from 10 days to 2 weeks to get prescriptions renewed. I had a cancer scan done 6 months ago and after waiting too long for the results I called the radiologist. I got a call from Dr. Dhar's office yesterday to let me know that the scan showed three tumors. SIX MONTHS TOO LATE.

I have enjoyed every visit

I don't know where this Dr's mind is or her staff. She doesn't listen to the patient. Too many times there has been confusion with medications, visits and procedures she or her staff schedule and it is all wrong or forgotten. I've never been to a Dr. that has such a solemn attitude, like she's in another world. Never has she examined me, she just asks questions...unbelievable! She's just guessing and I cannot afford this for medical reasons... I intend to switch Dr's. Do not waste your time with her...

She was a good doctor but went downhill fast. Not a doctor at all. Leaves patient in pain even when she knows the patient needs the proper pain medicine. She'll leave a patient suffering as long as she doesn't have to deal with them. She caters to the rich and the government. Not a doctor any more.

Wen I found Dr dhar, I was so happy with her,I suffer with chronic pain for the life I used to live wen I was ypung. I had a very rough life, I'm 59 yrs old. Dr Dhar put me on pain meds where I was living life so comfortable for 2 yrs. Then out of no where she started cutting me off to live medicine free cold turkey, I cried an begged her for help but her staff wud not let me communicate with her, for I believe they didn't like me. Wen I did talk to Dr dhar she to said I wouldn't be able to no longer receive my meds. I don't understand how a doctor that knows all the side effects or withdrawals that come after these medications can just cut you off with nothing. Chill this day I still wake up every day without being able to function I just don't feel I was taken care of right. I have PTSD also so to have that and to be withdrawing from these narcotics is nothing nice if anyone can give me any advice I really would appreciate it.

Dr. (question she should even be called doctor) is the worst physician I have ever been to. She was my PCP. I just moved to Texas and needed 2 referrals. She told me my case was too complex. I had severe knee pain...she never even looked at my knee or offered anything for the pain. I finally persuaded her to get me an MRI and she wrote the wrong leg on the order. She only cares about the money and health insurance companies NOT THE PATIENT. Her staff is unfriendly, doesn't follow up and lie about what has been completed. STAY AWAY!!

i feel like everytime i go to this doctor it is like she has never seen me before. she doesn't seem to remember anything from one visit to the next. her staff is horrid! if you do get the doc to realize you do need some sort of referral for medical treatment or test or specialist the staff do not seem to know how to do referrals. their fax machine is always broken (they say) and so the pharmacy has to call the doctor for any medication. she never does refills on you meds for chronic conditions. i saw her for over 7 months and never received appropriate timely medical care. if i called in with respiratory or nausea due to illness, it took 3 weeks to get in. the staff do not answer the phone most the time and are always late opening the door after lunch. very very inappropriate staff that do not care and seem to only care about insurance (being paid) but not about medical care. this is not a doctor or staff that will have your best interest at heart.
