Dr. Renuka Harish Bhatt, MD

BEWARE do NOT go to Fine Skin dermatology Dr Bhatt. The front desk had no idea what they are doing and the billing department office manager Colleen is so rude and she does not communicate well with insurance companies. My husband had a chemotherapy cream on his face for a month prior to his appointment for skin cancer and the day of his PDT appointment shockingly the office told us we needed to pay $350 upfront, or he could not be seen that day now and if we did not pay it then we had to leave . I was appalled . We have wonderful BCBS PPO insurance and our insurance had already preapproved this , sent the paperwork to them that it was and I even had my insurance company on the phone telling the office that this was covered and no $350 payment of any kind due . The office manager was so rude and told my husband if he didn’t pay the $350 upfront, he could not be seen. I asked to speak to the doctor and they would not even let us , so I had no choice but to pay the $350 as he was in… dire need of this appointment. Later I had to call the office and leave messages repeatedly and finally got my $350 back in a check weeks later . Even worse now the doctor will NOT speak to or return any phone calls to my husband or myself regarding his questions about the ongoing recovery of his treatment. It’s very clear this office cares more about money then it does patient care or respect . There are many good dermatologists out there and I highly suggest you look for one , do NOT go to Fine Skin dermatology Dr. Bhatts office.

DON’T go here! Go to Dr. Leon Tcheupdjian, MD. He has been my Doctor since 2005. Thought I try a place closer to home, what a mistake. After paying 2 Times to this awful Dr., the third time was enough! I Went To Dr. Leon Tcheupdjian, MD right after and he couldn’t even tell I had Botox from this awful place. Dr. Leon Tcheupdjian, MD Has been doing My Botox since 2007 if that tells you something. He is worth the drive. Pay for what your supposed to get! They put on credit report I owe 581.00 just recently... I saw them in 2016. It’s now 2021! They must need more saline solution to dilute their products. Disputing it and yes I have paper work from Dr. Leon Tcheupdjian, MD back from 2016 backing me up on what I am saying!!!

I had small cyst removed from my back that should have been taken care of with a small incision. Dr Bhatt made a a very large very sloppy incision that left me with a horrible scar. When I returned for my post op visit she tried to up sell my plastic surgery to correct her shoddy work. I feel she did a horrible job intentionally to create more business for herself. In addition to the extremely poor job done by the doctor, I also experienced very poor service from her office staff. On my first post op visit her receptionist loudly discussed my bill in front of another patient. And when I asked to see the office manager she came out into the waiting area and tried to discuss my bill, also in front of other patients. Furthermore 2 months after I made my final payment I received a past due notice bill for a payment they had cashed 2 months prior. It is an overall very unprofessional office. I do not recommend this doctor

I saw Dr. Bhatt and her new nurse practitioner last moth. My daughter goes to her at Orland park. I had bumps all over my legs and back after my vacation. My primary and other dermatologist I saw gave me antibiotic lotion and pills and called it folliculitis. I went to Dr. Bhatt cause my daughter insisted, her nurse practitioner in training came first and took time to ask me questions and look through the pics of the rash I had taken. Dr. Bhatt saw my and suggested biopsy because it DID NOT look like folliculitis at all. Today I got my biopsy results and Dr. Bhatt was right on her new diagnosis. I am glad they took time to take a step further in my care then just prescribe medications. I will defiantly recommend Dr. Bhatt to whoever needs it.

I had a small cyst removed from my back by Dr. Bhatt. I ended up with a very large 4 inch long incision that left a horrible ugly scar. It was the work of a butcher not a plastic surgeon. And when I questioned her about it’s appearance she told me she could “fix” it for me with an additional procedure and treatments. I truly believe she does sloppy work to get her patients to spend more money. In addition her office staff is extremely unprofessional and have no discretion or care for patient confidentiality. I would not recommend Dr. Bhatt to anyone.

Dr. Bhatt is very smart. I have been her patient for over 5 years and choose to bring my kids to her too. She is extremely knowledgable.

I have been a patient of Dr Bhatts for about 10 years. I recently had a basal cell cancer lesion removed by one of the PA's. She was very impatient telling me she had other patients to see that day. I am diabetic and the area of surgery was infected within 24 hours. I went to my primary doctor and he gave me a course of antibiotics to clear the infection. Its been close to 8 weeks and its still not healed. I had an appt. scheduled for this coming Friday as follow up. They called today to remind me of the appt and I told them I couldn't make it Friday. They asked if I wanted to schedule another day and I told them not at this time. Didn't even get a thank you, they just hung up on me! I'll never go back there again.

Always rushed when seen by Dr. Bhatt. Every single time- from the front to the back. Doesn’t make eye contact. Doesn’t take the time to explain anything. Had very serious side effects from a medication she prescribed and just brushed it off showing no real concern. Getting a new doctor.
