Dr. Renuka Kakarala, MD

The doctor was patient in listening to my health issues and was caring and suggested a path forward on how to come out of my condition.

I have been seeing Doc Kakarala for over 2 years. She is a great doc because prior to prescribing medicines she would ask you to make life style changes that could fix the symptoms. My annual checkup interactions are great because she invest time in understanding what problems I am having and try to identify root cause. I would highly recommend her.

I came across Dr Kakarala after experiencing the doubtable services of doctors that, for example, would prescribe antibiotics as a placebo to make me believe I was talken cared off, or that would spend 5 to 10 minutes on the clock and not even ask my name. Dr. Kakarala truly cares not only for her practice, but firstly for the real wellbeing of her clients. My entire family is doctors - different specialties - and when visiting an MD locally, I always ask my family members if the Dr.'s decisions are correct. Dr. Kakarala exceeds their expectations and personally I can say she has deep knowledge and real interest on giving me correct and personalized treatments and services.

After my primary physician relocated, my family was reassigned Dr. Renuka Kakarala. After one encounter with her, I immediately followed my PCP to his new location. I understand she has other patients but I expect a return call before 72 hours. She filled a prescription and sent it to the wrong pharmacy. My husband still had breathing issues and she did not return our call so I took him to my primary and was seen immediately! After testing the PCP referred us to the ER and it was discovered there was a blood clot on the lung. Apology after apology was offered because of being non responsive. Sharing so this will not happen to anyone else.

If you’re looking for an attentive and personable young doctor Dr. K is an excellent choice. I can’t say enough good things about her.

I have never had such a poor experience at a doctors office before. I have had so many issues in the short amount of time I have been going to Dr. Kakarala that I will never return to her office again. From the start, the incompetence of the office staff made transferring my medical records over a nightmare. Once this was finally completed, I picked up a prescription and turns out the doctor had given me the wrong prescription. When I was finally able to get the doctor on the phone, I expressed my frustration with the loss of paperwork and how long everything was taking to get my medication. The doctor did not care at all and brushed all of my concerns aside. I do not trust this office and would not recommend this office to anyone.

Dr. Kakarala is extremely nice, very knowledgeable and a good listener. Orders the appropriate tests and has a very good bedside manner.

Best new Dr. in Williamsport. Good personality, takes time to talk with you. Good listener. Very good at diagnosing problem and providing correct medication first time if meds are needed. I transferred after another Dr. moved out of area. I am so pleased to have a Dr. I trust completely.
