Dr. Rewa Mahmoud Hasanat, MD

Dr Hasanat is a great listener and I love that she will take the time to explain conditions, treatments etc... It's worth waiting a little while for a doctor that actually listens and cares.

A friend of mine referred me to Dr. Hasanat. I couldn’t be more pleased. She is terrific! She’s very skilled, knowledgeable, attentive and helpful. She also immediately personally input certain information into her computer which, for many items, eliminates or at least substantially decreases, the possibility of human error (for example, with things slipping through the cracks going through various assistants). Equally importantly, she took great care in referring me to a terrific ophthalmologist. Dr. Hasanat’s staff is also wonderful and extremely helpful. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Hasanat if you’re looking for an excellent primary care physician.

I make appointments for my daughter well in advanced. On the day of the appointment they could not find the appointment. The first time this happened we were sent away. The second time this happened we had a long wait time so that we could be squeezed in. The front desk associate was extremely rude during the entire encounter. We had gone to Dr. Hassanat for some time. After every visit she would tell me my daughter was all caught up on her shots. When it was time for my daughters school physical with complete medical information I was surprised to find out the doctor did not know what shots she had received. Dr. Hassanat then proceeded to tell me that keeping medical records was not up to her but up to me. I had had enough and switched doctors. Once I thought I was free Dr. Hassanat had one last trick up her sleeve. Dr. Hassanat only released medical records she did personally. Meaning the two years of previous medical records that I had given her she did not release.

What I dislike is the disregard for the patient's time. Appointments are made and the wait is horrendous. If you are scheduled for 3 and don't get called until 4, then I can come to office at 3:50.

This is my second visit with Dr. Hasanat. She was very friendly, thorough and listened to my concerns. I believe we are off to a good start.
