Dr. Rex Shad Morgan

Good day at the ofc. Dr and staff are friendly, prompt and caring. I feel I have his full attention and while I know he is often slammed he never cuts me short.

Compassionate, understanding, great staff

I went in because of pain and swelling in my shin area of my left leg. He seemed very rushed and said he was really slammed that day. He looked at my leg and felt it and them left after a brief time. Two days later I had an appointment with my oncologist Dr. Lilly at MUSC for my semiannual visit. I showed him my leg. He immediately diagnosed it as a blood clot and sent me to another building for a scan which confirmed that in fact it was a blood clot. Dr. Lilly put me on Lovenox blood thinner. Dr. Morgan missed a blood clot diagnosis. That is extremely serious. I'm afraid to stay with this doctor. The hospital under which he is operating is more concerned about profit that patient health and makes unreasonable demands for patients a doctor must see every day. I have a supportive family and he put me in the system for no reason. He is not a very responsible doctor. Doctors are not supposed to do any harm. Why did he do this to me. All these people are doing is spending my hard earn pension and social secretary checks on themselves. How is the protection. No, I wouldn't recommend him to no one. I'm still waiting on my flu shot from him.

Dr. Morgan is outstanding! Voted #1 doctor (among several other awards he has received) in the Mt. Pleasant Magazine. He is brilliant, low key, an extraordinary listener, is compassionate and caring. Let's hope NYC doesn't come down here and swoop him away from us. I trust his judgement. His academic training is impeccable. He is exactly the kind of doctor everybody would want.

Uses a PA with poor experience. Made wrong diagnosis. Do not recommend.

Unlike most doctors, he care about you and your health, not the business. He's caring and very interested in your health. He and his care is the same every time, his staff is fantastic, caring and very understanding. I do not like going to the doctor, his office I will gladly return time after time. I feel very well taken care of.

dr morgan has been my doctor for over 10 years and I would not see anyone else. very caring and makes me feel very comfortable and well informed.

Dr. Morgan is a knowledgeable and competent physician and a warm and caring human being. I am so pleased with his concern for my mom and his gentle and calming care of me.

Treatment of the geriatric patient requires an extremely special person. Someone that is not only highly intelligent, intuitive and medically proficient but also someone that can see the whole person, not just the diagnostic results on the paper and someone that can empathize and communicate well with both the patient and the family that is struggling themselves to deal with the overwhelming and emotional aspects of the disease process. Some skills can be taught in medical schools and some skills you simply have because of the person you are inside. Dr. Morgan is the absolute best in all areas and never loses sight of the patient as a whole person and the family members involved.
