Dr. Reyhan Berkel, MD

Dr Berkel seems to always give time to her patients and give the best advise possible. As I have been a patient of her and I am mostly satisfied by all her treatments. I have been visiting several doctors for the past few years but Dr Berkel seems to be the perfect doctor for my health.

Dr. Berkel is the doctor you want on your side if you suffer from a debilitating condition that requires numerous hospitalization’s. Being her first patient with Myasthenia Gravis she went out of her way to understand the disease more then what was taught to her in medical school. If you’re looking for a Primary Care Doctor to be part of your medical care team this is the doctor you want on your team. She is always looking out for your best interest and not afraid to fight for you. It’s always a God Blessing sight when you see her at bedside as she explains everything to you and always explains the results from tests and daily blood work. At her office, her staff is great and go out of their way for you. I highly recommend Dr. Berkel.

She is a nice person but irresponsible doctor.A while ago I went to her office to have a physical checkup. The nurse took my blood and said that we are going to let you know the result next week but they didn't. I called the office many times no one answered then I decided to go to the office to learn what is wrong so I went there it was closed.I am so angry I still couldn't learn the result it has been 40 days now.

Dr. Berkel is the best doctor I've ever had. She's knowledgeable, thorough and her bedside manner is fantastic. More doctors should be like her.

The office was very modern and clean, the staff treated me with courtesy. I was able to make an appointment and come in for an urgent visit on the same day. The doctor was right on time, very friendly and knowledgeable. I met Dr.Berkel for the first time but walked out of the office feeling like she had been my doctor for many years... great feeling! Highly recommended!!!

Hackensack Medical Hospital is very lucky to have someone like Dr. Berkel working there! She took great care of my grandmother along with her team of nurses on floor 3 South!
