Dr Jacob rushes through appointments without doing a thorough inspection. Misdiagnosed ringworm for an autoimmune disease GA and said “ we could do a biopsy but I am 99% it’s GA” after 4 visits a simple case of ringworm was mistreated and spread throughout my body. After coming to the conclusion it was fungal rather than autoimmune instead of taking accountability he told me that I refused the biopsy. 5 months later I wish I went somewhere else to start, could have saved a lot of money and stressful nights.

Very strange doctor. Didn't seem to know how to help my eczema. After several visits, I gave up and found a wonderful dermatologist who made a huge difference. Don't waste your time with this doctor.

Perhaps Dr. Jacobs was having a really bad day when he saw me, but I am an advanced health care specialist and Dr. Jacobs didn’t bother with taking a detailed medical history or with performing an examination. He told me « I don’t know what’s wrong with you » without examining my scalp or ears (the problem areas). I told him I have always had very oily skin and now it’s dry and very itchy. He dismissed me and the problem worsened and evolved. In desperation, I took to the internet as I began to lose my hair in large amounts. Thank God for Google! Seborrheic Dermatitis. I treated with an OTC cream and my extremely rough, dried skin became supple and soft immediately. I will purchase the items recommended on the Mayo Clinic website. A third year med student could have done a better job than Dr. Jacobs! Are those ratings on the Scripps website from his well-connected family members? Do your self a favor and find a doctor who enjoys and is interested in the practice of medicine as Dr.… Jacobs is clearly just going through the motions!

I saw Dr Jacobs on numerous Occassions for general itchiness. He never provided any constructive diagnosis for what I was experiencing. I decided not to see him again when he suggested I get a bug sniffing dog to explore my house as I may have bug bites

Dr. Jacob & the entire staff at Medderm are awesome. Very friendly. Dr. Jacob always welcomes me back & makes me feel very comfortable even during a scrape & burn procedure. I have been there several time & highly recommend Dr. Jacob.

Greeted me with a smile , very nice and professional. First of all I was nervous but he made feel calm . He talked to me about my skalp issue & gave me my prescription , his assistant was very helpful as well, front disk girl was rude though .... After all I Highly recommend him ,,, Thank u :)
